During their migration to northern Sweden in spring cranes rests at lake Hornborjarsjön in the middle of Sweden. The third of April 2019 there was 27000 in one day this is the highest number ever . In early morning just before sun rise the cranes fly in from their night "camps" to the shores of the lake and vice versa in the evening.
In the very faint blue light, before sun rise, the first cranes came flying in, with a long shutter speed and steady hand I got some interesting photos . But when sun is just above horizon the sky turns red, yellow and orange and i got very nice photos of cranes in silhouette towards the sky.
